Terms of Service
These Terms cover the ShopReady website, the ShopReady programs, license keys, downloads, the Your licenses page, support and the optional online features (together, the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to them.
Updated 14 October 2026.
Who we are
ShopReady Solutions ("ShopReady", "we", "us") makes ShopReady Cabinets Standalone, ShopReady Cabinets for SketchUp, ShopReady Draft 2D, ShopReady Draft 3D and ShopReady Field, and runs this website.
If you have a separate written agreement with us, it controls where it differs from these Terms.
Payments and Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
When you buy through Paddle, Paddle's buyer terms apply to the purchase as well as these Terms. Prices are shown in US dollars. Paddle adds any sales tax or VAT due where you live.
ShopReady Field is sold on Google Play and the App Store. Those purchases follow the store's own terms.
What you buy
A license to use the software, not the software itself. Each purchase gives one license key, for one person or one business.
Bought once (perpetual): the license keeps working for good, for the versions it covers. ShopReady Draft 2D and ShopReady Draft 3D include their updates until the next paid version. ShopReady Draft 3D includes everything in ShopReady Draft 2D.
ShopReady Cabinets Standalone and ShopReady Cabinets for SketchUp bought outright include every update released within one year of the purchase date. Versions released after that year are not included. The versions you have keep working.
By the year (subscription): ShopReady Cabinets Standalone and ShopReady Cabinets for SketchUp are also sold as a yearly plan. It renews each year until you cancel it and includes every update while it is paid. When a plan ends, the program stops being licensed on your computers.
We take no payment for a tool marked Coming soon until it can be delivered.
Using your license
Use a key on up to two computers at a time, for example one in the shop and one at home, on Windows or Mac. To move it, free a computer in the program or on the Your licenses page.
The programs work without a connection. They check in with our license server now and then when they can, and need to reach it at least once every 60 days to stay licensed.
Don't share, sell, rent or publish your key, and don't try to get around the license checks. Without a license, a program may run in a try mode that can't save, export or send work to a machine.
Yearly plans and cancelling
Cancel a yearly plan at any time to stop it renewing, from the link in your Paddle receipt email or at paddle.net. The plan stays active until the end of the year already paid for. Cancelling doesn't refund earlier charges.
Refunds
You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of a purchase, and within 14 days of each yearly renewal. The details are in our Refund Policy.
Refunded, reversed and abusive transactions
If a transaction is refunded, reversed, charged back or otherwise cancelled, we may cancel the license key and turn off the related updates, support and online features.
Using a program after its purchase was refunded or reversed is not permitted unless you buy it again or we reinstate it in writing.
We may look into and restrict accounts involved in suspected abuse, such as repeated refunds, repeated repurchases after refunds, chargeback abuse, or attempts to keep using a product after its payment was reversed.
Your work
Your drawings, models, cut lists and machine programs are yours. We claim no ownership of what you make with the programs, and a missing or expired license never changes your drawings or machine programs.
When you send us a support request, attachment, screenshot, model, drawing or message, you keep ownership of it and give us a non-exclusive right to host, copy and review it as needed to help you, keep the Services running, improve them and meet legal obligations. Only send what you have the right to share.
Machines and safety
Some ShopReady programs write files for CNC routers, lasers and 3D printers. Check every program, toolpath and setting before you run it, follow your machine maker’s safety instructions, and use the machine’s own guards and emergency stop.
You are responsible for what you run on your machine and for checking that the output suits your material, tooling and setup.
AI features
Some programs offer optional AI features. AI answers can be incomplete or wrong, and may not suit your shop, project or production conditions.
Review anything an AI feature produces before relying on it for purchasing, fabrication, engineering, code compliance, production or business decisions.
Using the Services
Use the Services only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms.
Don't misuse the Services or interfere with them: no unauthorised access, probing or scanning, malicious code, scraping of protected content, getting around access limits, or reverse engineering except where the law allows it. We may look into misuse and work with the authorities when required.
Accounts
Some features need you to sign in, such as Your licenses and support tickets. Keep your sign-in to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with it.
We may suspend or limit access if an account is used against these Terms, to compromise security, or to harm ShopReady, its customers or others.
Intellectual property
The Services, including our software, names, interface designs, text, graphics, videos and documentation, belong to ShopReady or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law.
Except as these Terms allow, don't copy, resell, sublicense, distribute or modify our software or materials. These Terms give you no ownership of them.
Other companies' products and services
ShopReady Cabinets for SketchUp runs inside SketchUp, which is sold separately under its own terms.
Payments, hosting, sign-in, email, video and AI features rely on other companies' services. We aren't responsible for those services, and their own terms and privacy practices also apply.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title or non-infringement.
We do not promise the Services will run without interruption or errors, or that they will meet every workflow, production or compatibility need. This does not limit any rights you have under consumer law where you live.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, ShopReady and its owners, employees and service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, business interruption, material, machine or production losses arising from or related to the Services.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid for the Service concerned in the 12 months before the event that led to the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless ShopReady and its owners, employees and contractors from claims, damages, liabilities, losses and expenses arising from your misuse of the Services, the content you submit, or your breaking these Terms or the law.
Ending access
We may suspend or end access to all or part of the Services where needed to protect the Services, comply with the law, enforce these Terms or stop misuse.
Parts of these Terms that by their nature should continue, such as ownership, disclaimers, limits of liability and indemnification, continue after access ends.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Updates take effect when posted here unless a later date is given. Using the Services after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
