Bringing your work over, part 3 of 5: Tidy up for cutting

A key fob beside the coaster looks whole but is as drawings often arrive: loose lines, a corner left a hair open (seen by zooming in), and one side and the hole drawn twice. Modify > Tidy up for cutting takes out what is drawn twice, joins the pieces into one outline and closes it, and says so in the status line. A click then picks the whole outline.

Work made elsewhere was brought into the program and made ready to cut. The film shows a laser project file opening with its layers and cut settings in the laser job, an SVG dropped on the window with its colors as layers, Tidy up for cutting mending a drawing with doubled lines and an open corner, Weld making overlapping letters one outline, and Nest the selected shapes packing copies onto a sheet the size of a laser's bed.
