Fifty name tags from a list, part 4 of 7: The laser job

Laser > Laser job... on the sheet of fifty tags. The drawing's two layers are the laser's two layers: Engrave is set to Fill at 100 mm/s and 30% power, Cut stays a Line at 6 mm/s and full power with two tabs a shape so the tags stay in the sheet, and Engrave is put first in the order. The foot of the window adds up the run time, and Save to drawing keeps the job with the drawing.

Fifty name tags were made from one drawn tag and a spreadsheet list. The film shows drawing with typed sizes and layers, text and a QR code with fields in braces, a CSV list filling them, Make many laying out a copy for every row, the laser job with its Fill and Line layers, tabs, order, run time, kept settings and start point, the preview with its clock, and the Machine window with a pretend laser: connect, home, frame, start, pause, resume.
