A photo on wood, part 1 of 4: The picture comes in

Laser > Engrave a picture... opens the picture window at its Laser choice with a head-and-shoulders picture. Its width is set to 100 mm, and Engrave it... puts it on the drawing and opens the Laser job with the picture in it. The drawing shows the picture as it will burn, the window shows it as it came and as dots, and the foot says how long it runs.

A photo on wood: the whole project

A photo was engraved on wood and cut out with a frame. The film shows the picture window at its Laser choice, the picture on the drawing shown as it will burn, the ways of burning it (Dither, Newsprint, Threshold, Grayscale), brightness, contrast and line spacing with the run time following, the dots seen close up, a material test made from its numbers, a frame drawn on a Cut layer, and the preview with its clock.
