A geared trip hammer, part 4 of 7: A pin, a motor, and the first run
The drawing is made to move. The cam wheel and its gear become one assembly, the hammer is pinned at its pivot and dropped by its own weight with LET GO, and a right-click on the small gear gives the train its motor. The program sees that, the way it is set, a peg would run into the hammer, and waits for Play; set to clockwise, the Motion window lists every gear's speed and the 9 to 1 ratio. On Play a peg pushes the tail down, and the head runs into the top beam: both turn red.
